Following on from the success of The Big Garden Birdwatch, the RSPB is running a summer garden wildlife survey from the 8th-14th June called Make Your Nature Count.
The RSPB is asking people to count the wildlife that visit their gardens over the summer to build a picture of the wildlife in gardens and define how important gardens are for breeding birds and summer migrants.
The RSPB is also asking people to record other wildlife visiting gardens such as frogs, toads, squirrels and badgers.
Taking part in Make Your Nature Count is very simple. You simply need to spend one hour during the week of 8th-14th June counting the birds and any other wildlife that visit your garden and record the highest number of each species seen at any one time. You then submit these online to the RSPB who eill be collating all the results.
