Review submitted by L Lee from Exeter who travelled in September 2009.

What was the most memorable part of your holiday?
The Lory Loft was absolutely spectacular - although that hardly does it justice. Below the birds (which you were allowed to feed) you could hear croaking from frogs and toads which almost drowned out the sound of the lories. There was a big sign saying that you can't keep Lories as pets but these were so gorgeous I just wanted to take one home!

What birds and other wildlife did you see?
Jurong Bird Park is packed with so many bird and attractions that it was impossible to see them all. However, the highlights for me were the thousand flamingoes, the birds of prey aviaries and the tallest indoor waterfall in the world and the parrot paradise

What advice would you give to other people thinking about booking this holiday?
Plan before you go into the bird park what you want to see. There is so much that you might be overwhelmed when you first enter. And use the panorail - when you get high up the windows cloud over so you can't see into nearby apartments - so clever!

How would you rate your holiday overall?
This was just part of our trip to Singapore but I would say it was one of the highlights. The kids were never bored during the day we spent at Jurong which of course was a big bonus!

Would you recommend this as a bird watching holiday?
Yes, The only thing I would say is that there is not much information about the birds when you are inside the park or it is hidden away. I'd recommend getting a guide book before you go so you can read up on the different species of birds.
