It's not often we talk about anything but birds on this site but we wanted to share with you an inspiring blog. The London Vegetable Garden is Callum Saunders' record of a unique urban gardening project. He has turned his tiny London balcony into a tiny vegetable garden and on the blog you can chart his progress.
He also examines social and cultural topics around urban gardening and growing your own and it's all accompanied by lovely photographs including some of the birds that regularly visit his balcony. This project just shows that no matter how small your outside space it is still possible to attract wildlife and give nature a helping hand.
