The 100% FSC approved timber nest box is equipped with a high quality video camera so you can watch birds set up home and baby chicks hatch. The black and white camera box has built in infrared lights which means it is suitable for nighttime viewing or you can have a colour camera option which is suitable for daytime viewing only.
The nest box has a hinged lid which means you can easily access the camera unit without disturbing the birds and the box can be converted for different species of birds. Add a copper hole protector for blue tits, marsh tits, coal tits and wrens. Remove the hole protector to attract great tits and sparrows. And if you remove the front panel completely then robins, wagtails and spotted flycatchers will move in.
The camera nest box is supplied with 16 metres of cable and a mains adaptor and plugs straight into any TV, monitor or computer with a "video in" socket.
The nest box is made from solid cedar from well-managed forests and measures 36 x 15 x 15cm.
